DESCRIPTION:We're hosting another Virtual Wake Up West Side focusing on economic development around Drake University.  Our special guest will be Ben Godar and Michael Wagler who are both on the Board of the Des Moines Film Society. They will share their future plans for the historic Varsity Theater which is an iconic landmark in the Drake Neighborhood.  You can learn more on the website to prep for their presentation.\n\n\n\n  \n\nDes Moines Film Society Board Members Ben Godar and Michael Wagler\n\n\n\nOnce you RSVP we'll send you a ZOOM Link the day before the event.\n\n\n\nAgenda:   \n\n10:00 AM - Welcome and Introductions\n\n10:05 AM - Update from our Chamber Leadership\n\n10:15 AM - Ben Godar and Michael Wagler with the Des Moines Film Society\n\n10:50 AM - Wrap-up from our Chamber Leadership\n\n\n\nWest Side ZOOM Best Practices\n\n- Please plan be present and attentive for the entire hour\n\n- A head-set or earbuds with a mic are best\, especially if there are dogs\, cats\, and kids in the background (which is great!) If you are in a quiet room\, your computer or phone's built in audio/mic are fine.\n\n- We will probably mute most participants audio until you are asked to speak.\n\n- Dress Code - Hmmm... we'll be flexible here\, but at least comb your hair.
