DESCRIPTION:The much anticipated planning efforts are now underway to re-imagine and re-energize a three-mile segment of Douglas Avenue\, stretching from Merle Hay Road east to the Des Moines River!\n \n\nIf you live or do business along this corridor\, let your voice be heard. Your participation starts with a big public kick-off open house to be held Wednesday\, November 15th from 6:30 to 8 PM at the Plaza Lanes VIP Room. A brief presentation and introduction will start the evening followed by browsing various stations around the room that focus on different aspects of the plan such as walkability and safety\, redevelopment opportunities\, beautification\, and more. These stations are your opportunity to share ideas\, concerns\, and ask questions. Make your voice heard!\n\n\n\nYou can find us in the VIP room of the iconic Plaza Lanes Sports Complex. Enter the door on the southeast side of the complex and turn right down the hallway.
